You are my *hero*!

It worked, and now Straw is installed on my YDL Wallstreet, as sweet as
can be.

As you surmised, there were a few dependencies (three), but each was
easily taken care of with yum. Then, I used (as root) "rpm -Uvh" to
install the bsddb3-4.1.6-1.ppc.rpm then the straw-0.21.1-1.ppc.rpm. To
be safe, I logged out of KDE and logged into Gnome. Straw was there in
my "More Internet Applications" menu, and it started fine. I was even
able to export my RSS subscriptions list from NetNewsWire on Mac OS X
and import it without problem to Straw (it's in .opml format).

I'm pleased and excited.
