I read that more broadly; I think that Mr. Quintanar (who is well known 
to be helpful, if puckish around here) was suggesting you might get a 
higher *quality* of answer by consulting with the Gentoo experts. As for 
*quantity*, we have plenty of that here on the Yellow Dog lists (we have 
lots of quality, too, but Gentoo is not the major subject of this list).

There probably is a line at which "On Topic" and "Off Topic" are 
divided, but I don't think that a discussion of Gentoo as it compares to 
YDL has crossed that line. In fact, I was quite interested in the 
subject, and I look forward to additional discussion thereof (but that's 
just my opinion).
