Hey B. Yoo,
I don't run Linux on My OS X box, only on my OS 9 box using Boot X, but
this might be worth a try...

Reset you NVRAM (zap your PRAM) by holding [option]+[command]+[p]+[r]
while you start up you machine. This should get you booting straight
into OSX.
From there choose OS X as the Startup Disk and reboot. This should have
your OF reset even if the NVRAM reset didn't do the trick. Then you can
follow the stuff at this link:
ch9.en.shtml>
which should your yaboot back working.

HTHO

PostScript:
It would be interesting to see if this works, tho...

Since you are able to boot OS X within MOL as root, try setting the
startup disk to the OS X partition, shutdown OSX while in MOL, then
reboot the pooter. This should bless your OS X system folder so that
the Apple Bootstrap partition (where yaboot lives) is ignored. This may
get you booting directly into OSX.

If you get there, I'd reset the NVRAM just in case.
Then do the stuff at the above link to get yaboot going again.

g'luck
