Dual 1.33 XServe Won't Install

All,
    I'm trying to install the newly released YDL 4.0 on a Dual 1.33 
XServe. When the install kernel is probing for devices, I get a panic: 
no init found. Any ideas? I've tried both the install and install-safe 
kernels.
