I believe that newer Mozilla-based browsers do not work with 1.3.x
JREs, you need instead a JRE 1.4.x plugin... which is not available on
the PPC platform. Indeed, the IBM JRE (or for that matter JDK) does
not offer a browser plugin, and the Blackdown guys do not offer a
1.4.x JRE/JDK for PPC.
The Mozilla foundation is aware of all of these as far as I know, and
a fix may be forthcoming though I do not know any details.
There have been reports of putting IBM JREs and Mozilla-based browsers
together. You need GCC 3.4.x for these. I cannot vouch for this
combination, I did upgrade a couple of weeks ago to GCC 3.4 but I did
not have the nerve to recompile Mozilla...

it isn't, it ain't. That's logic.
