The step of removing the .o from certain parts of the rc script
was not valid for me. However, updating the pcmcia config file is what has
helped. I suspect though unless I update my kernel image to the pcmcia
kernel I will never get the eject buttons to work without installing an
unknown patch that is available on the web.
For now, I'll hold out in the hopes I get a Pismo and the 900Mhz
upgrade before the new year. Either that or a new G4 iBook! :)
