Well, it's an ALPHA release...
I'm finishing the download now and will test it this afternoon.
For those interested, it seems most cooker mirrors don't provide iso images, 
but the swedish site does:

ftp://ftp.sunet.se/pub/Linux/distributions/mandrakelinux/devel/iso/10.1/ppc/
