[ydl-gen] reinstalled osx and bootx is gone

Boot X is part of YDL 3.  TSS made the decision, quite a long time ago 
to not support BootX from YDL 4 onward.

Therefore if you want BootX you will have to find it on the web from 
one of the mirrors which may still have YDL 3.0 software.
