Looking for a backup solution

Hi,

I replaced my internal HDD with a new one, and promptly put the old one 
in an external Firewire/USB2.0 enclosure.

Can anyone recommend a backup solution?  I just want to copy everything 
into a archive of some sort.  I understand that Disk Druid can do this 
for me.  But is their a free solution that can allow me to make 
additional "change only" backup archives also?
