Thank You Henry--
I had gone to the Linux USB Devices website & found the data--I tear 
out my hair because I has one of those Modems two years ago--sold it on 
eBay to someone in Australia--Thought I didn't "need" it when I bought 
my Mirror-Door--It has a futzy modem & I ended up buying a Best Data 
(BIG MISTAKE) Modem--It's a ACF type that won't ever be supported under 
Linux--So my quest goes on---
