[IMPORTANT] SOUND!!!!

 Ah, ha... Geert also gets the infamous KDE+ALSA white noise sound. 
Maybe it is endian thing.

I do recall that KDE+OSS+YDL-3.0.1 sound worked fine.

Albrecht Dreß has just reported that OSS works well for him on a G4. 
Hopefully he ran the KDE sound test.
