SATA drives on G4 // disk controllers

Well I testes the SATA ATA card and it does NOT work with YDL 4.0  (it does
work with OS X)

I'm trying to set up a G4 (blue & white 450 mhz) as a server (mostly running
SAMBA) and was wondering what controllers others have used. 

Has anyone had success with the Tempo Serial ATA card?  Other
recommendations?  Is there any RAID controller that will work well in this
configuration?  I'll be using the most current release of Yellow Dog.
