Powermac G4 randomly shutting down

Not exactly, and while possibly unrelated, I have a dual PIII 1U
rackmount and an Athlon Thunderbird 1200MHz that tend to shut off
randomly around this time of year.  Turns out it's the heat.  With
extra cooling on the machines, the problem goes away.  It's worth
checking out this alternative, as fans (even with the case open) are
cheaper than replacing other components :-)
