I've installed the available yum updates and I am very pleased so
far as the system fell 'faster' and more responsive compared to 2.6.8
and 2.6.9. (Responsiveness is ranked very high on my OS-o-meter
appreciation list) Good job ;)

I have spotted a couple [minor] issues so far. Perfection is just a
dream after all. One is about atyfb and the other about the bmac
ethernet adapter.

1- Thus X11 is working super fine, there is a bad bug in the consoles.
The screen show a pair of distorted column. The letters are 'buzzing'
The first (left most) column is located on 'n)' of
'Yellow Dog Linux 4.0 (orion)' and the second is located 10 letters
to the right. tty1 does print debug stuffs:

My first guess is that i should set another driver than 'atyfb'
in bootx. Im not sure the one I should use. Suggestions?

NOTE: I've set XF86Config to use 'mach64_accel' and its fine.

2- bmac ethernet card. I just had to do /sbin/modprobe bmac' then
activate the eth0 interface the usual way. I wrote a shell script that
does just that for me with a single command input.
