YDL 4.0 no Network

Greetings,

I have a Blue and White G3 (300Mhz) that is getting on the network 
(built in E-net) on the Mac OS X side but when I boot to Yellowdog I 
find I cannot browse via Mozilla...it's like my NIC is not getting an 
IP.  I reinstalled Yellowdog and still have the problem.  If I go to 
System Settings/Network and login at the prompt as root, under the 
Hardware tab it shows "GMAC (Sun GEM)    Ethernet    eth0    ok".   Any 
ideas?
