Upgrade from 4.0 to 4.0.1

uname -a

Tells you what kernel version are you running (assuming you did a
reboot since the latest 'yum update'?

Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.9-1.ydl.8 #1 Thu Dec 9 01:00:18 EST
2004 ppc ppc ppc GNU/Linux

This is the pre-4.0.1 Beige G3 compatible kernel (I still have to
modify the ethernet card entry before rebooting with 2.6.10).
