[ydl-gen] Booting a new G5

All,
    I recently bought a new G5 Xserve. After buring the latest YDL 4.0.1 
install discs, I've found that the keyboard and mouse (both are Apple) 
don't work when the system boots the install list... Any ideas what 
might be going on here? I booted in OXS server to verify the hardware 
isn't broken. I also md5summed the install disc to verify it. Both seem 
to be OK. Any help is greatly appreciated.
