Hi Rev:
Glad to be of help.  The question you should ask regarding any Linux  
software is really what you intend to use it for.  Keep in mind Linux  
allows your computer to be a server, meaning that you can utilize not  
only programs for computers acting as clients, but you can also use  
programs for servers.  The programs for servers and clients do  
different things as the skill levels required for utilizing servers are  
different as well.
