[ydl-gen] Boot Mac without a video card

So it does boot with a monitor but not without?

Hmm. Are you trying to run the computer without a _video card_?

I'm running a Beige G3 (officially unsupported) headless, and, AFAIK
all Macs should be able to _run_ headless (some machines require a
monitor to allow you to install YDL in the first place, however). I
also run the Beige G3 without its AV personality card. This means it
can't generate any sounds (which is why I did it ;-) and should draw a
few Watts less of electricity (ugh, the grammar seems awkward but not
necessarily wrong).

Eric.
