I personally havent tried to update from YDL 4.0.1 to YDL 4.1, I suspect
udev will give problems so be sure to run:
/sbin/new-kernel-pkg --mkinitrd --depmod --install 2.6.15-rc5.ydl.1
Double check ybin is using the new kernel and has an initrd specified
(your machine may not boot correctly without a new initrd because of
udev)
libstdc++/libgcc might also give problems, but yum _should_ take care of
that. If you do infact try to update 4.0 to 4.1, let the list know the
problems and someone should be able to provide a solutions to them.
There will be stuff that may not work, just a matter of using a big
hammer to make it all work.
Cheers,
Owen
