It is not a pirated DVD. That is the name of the
movie. Pirates is an adult themed adventure set on the
high seas! Anyways, it was billed as the adult
industry's first HD-DVD.



Yes, I'm sure you can rip pirated DVDs in Linux
without any extra
applications since pirates have little reason to
encrypt data. I can
confirm this without even trying. You can do it on any
operating
system on any hardware. The fact that your movie is
encoded in WMV is
a clear signal of that. Blu-ray and HD-DVD do not use
Microsoft codecs
for the video stream.
