I always throw this step in at the end
$echo hostname > /proc/sys/kernel/hostname

beuh... very very bizarre...
at first I've that :> [root at 127 root]#
and at once I've looked at /etc/hosts: it didn't change (no 127)
so now I know (wowowo) that this file hosts has nothing to do with the
problem
well, to see if this "127 root" would remain after a logging out I
closed the session.
But then, catastrophe !!!
... impossible to open a session again because a problem of "something
like dcop". Only the safe terminal was permitted. I don't why but I've
had the idea to hostname bbux.bbux, and, incroyable, it worked !
at the right-down corner of the logging screen, this time it's written
bbux.bbux, and after logging and safe arrival at KDE, the terminal says:
-> [root at bbux root]#
I won't say Victoire too fast, several loggin in and out may be
necessary to see if bbux is there for long.
you know, I find the safe terminal a little bit brrbrr (j'ai eu peur!o)
cordialement,
b.b
