[ydl-gen] Kernel hacking

Hey Warren,
Yes. I've built kernels for YDL on both my G5 as well as the PS3.
The PS3 kernels were for the initial YDL5 release, so I could get
hugetbl support for the cell back last November. It took something
like a day to figure out exactly how to do it (what source to use)
before I got it up. I think I've got some of the emails at home
between Owen and I from then.
Currently I'm running FC7 on the PS3, so I can play with SDK3.0.
If you haven't already done so, check out the following page:
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/power
Lots of links to good articles, and also check out the Cell Broadband
Forum pages, I know I've seen a bunch of posts about hugetbl
installations.

Thanks, Rob. Actually, I did make the initrd after building the
kernel (and I included the appropriate reference to initrd in my
kboot.conf). Have you ever done the kernel build on YDL?
