[ydl-gen] yum on 6.1 broken?

Am I the only one for whom "yum update" doesn't work on 6.1?

I did a clean install on the PS3 (format partition previously used by 
6.0) and changed essentially nothing. The system works fine otherwise, I 
can even browse the Web, but "yum update" fails with an error.

Do I need to do anything to the yum configuration to make it work?
