Hi Shawn abd thanks again for your precious help. Actually I have a 4gb disk
which contains:

- 1 Hfs+ partition for Os 9.1 (1.456mb)
- 1 ext2 partition for Linux (1.456mb)
- 1 swap partition (128mb)
- 1 unallocated (56mb +/-)

I consequently think that whatever the problem is it does not concern space.
By the way: The last time I restarted the installation I selected
"everything" under the "package installation" menu, but I had had the exact
same problem and error messages when selecting "home/office" during the
first install ...

Any other suggestion/workaround?

Thanks in advance

Lorenzo
