About to Give up on YDL for PM 6500s

I am hoping, judging from your question,  that you have finished the 
install successfully. If this is the case, you need to click the 
"Options" button in bootX and uncheck the "Use RAM disk" option. then 
boot into Linux by clicking the "Linux" button. If you fail to uncheck 
the RAM Disk checkbox, you will just continue to boot into the installer.
