Interesting. On my B&W G3 I installed YDL 2.1 (and 2.2) over a 1.5 GB HFS+
formatted partition (and, it was used as such beforehand). For me the
installer "destroyed" the pre-existing HFS+ partition and created the HFS
boot, the root and swap "sub-"partitions.
