iBook trackpad/mouse

Good day...
I've installed your YellowDog Linux on my 800x600 clamshell 300mhz iBook.
I followed the instructions set out by Oliver Reisch at ibooklinux.net. I
selected the graphical login with no graphics acceleration. Problem:
I cannot use the trackpad on the iBook or a USB mouse from the USB port.
Since I am a 'newbie' I'm not familiar on the exact steps needed to solve
this problem.
Please help me.  What I have seen of this product I like very much.
I was stoked to see that my DHCP/ethernet was working so I was able to get
out via the web, but no control via the trackpad or mouse.
