Installing OS on a HFS+ partition?

Hi all,

i plan to install YDL 2.2 on my G3 B&W 350/6GB HD. I have partioned
the HD and reinstalled OS9.

The installation-guide tells that one should create a HFS
(Mac-Standard) partition for the OS9-part of the harddisc. But this
leads to a 55kB-blocksize in my case as i had to notice. That's a
enormous waste of space compared to the 4bk-blocks on a HFS+ Patition!

Is there some problem with the yaboot-Bootloader if the OS9 in on a
HFS+-partition or can i just repartition my disc before i install
linux?

Regards,
Martin
