Hi! I've been trying to get the yellowdog linux installed on my Powermac =
7300/96ram/1.8GB with bad results :(

The trouble starts when I'm formating the linux partitions (in the =
yellowdog installer) I get errors saying=20
"Warning! Could not create rpm directories or =
database:exceptions.Exception:[Errno17 File exists:'/tmp/root/var'"=20

I continued anyway, hoping that it will work ut. Finally when everything =
was installed and I started booting linux I've got alot of errors saying =
the filesystem is damaged and it ends up that I=B4m logged in as root in =
some sort of fail-safe mode (unable to start X) and it tells me somehow =
to fix the filesystem errors.

Anyone got any clue what I should do? :(=20

Regards
Daniel
