sound server problems

I just installed my new YLD OS on my Mac/8500. When my Linux system =
fully boots I receive an error which reads something like this: Sound =
Server failed... Error
while initializing the sound driver: >device /dev/dsp

I have been reading on the web about others whom have gone through this =
but nothing is working for me in the searches so far. Do you know what I =
can do to remedy this problem or where I can go to read on how to remedy =
this. Thanx in advance.

By the way, where exactly do I go to find a reply to my post. Could =
someone email me: tam@thrifty.net, with the info on where to watch for =
