If there isn't a sub-directory called "point" in /mnt you will get this
error.
You can try "mount -t hfs /dev/hda9 /mnt" or "mount -t hfs /dev/hda9 /macos"
(as suggested) to mount the partition there.

Subject: Want To Mount My MacOS Partition
Hello All
I have an iBook (dual USB) with a 20GB drive. I have three
partitions. On one I have Mac OS X, on the other I have all of my junk,
and on the third I have YDL 2.3. What I want to do is to be able to
access the stuff on my Macintosh HFS partitions while in YDL. Any
suggestions? I tried:
mount -t hfs /dev/hda9 /mnt/point/ (my junk partition is on
/dev/hda9 or /dev/disk0s9)
But I keep getting the "/mnt/point does not exist" error. Any help
anybody can be will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
