konqueror is so sloooooooow

The falacy that Mozilla is slow comes from the fact
that Mozilla for the MacOS is written in Carbon. 
Indeed, Mozilla on the MacOS is painfully slow, but
it's the fault of the Carbon API, not Mozilla's own
code.  What this all means is that if you run Mozilla
under linux, you'll notice that it is MUCH faster.  In
this writer's opinion, it is the best browser out
there, as long as you're not running it on MacOS.  I'd
suggest giving it a try, you may learn to love it (as
I have).
