trying to mount an SMB share as a normal user gives me
this:

[mao@redbook mao]mount /mnt/kazaamp3/
smbmnt must be installed suid root for direct user
mounts (500, 500)

what does this mean? how do i 'install [smbmnt] suid
root'? i tried tk up suid in the man pages but it's
not there....and setuid is just a library function or
whatever. actually...where do i go to make linux
automatically mount my SMB shares on startup?

ps: still can't get to Windows 2000 SMB shares from
linux.

thx.
