you know, "install text" isn't bad to get you started

I faced something similar. The ATI Rage 128 driver looks buggy to me.
A
quick fix is to use the "fbdev" driver instead of the r128 - but the
resolution will not be that good. Open the /etc/X11/XF86Config file -
edit
the video card section (Identifier "Card0"), change Driver "xxx" to
Driver
"fbdev" and then use redhat-config-xfree86 to configure your monitor,
color
depth etc.

Subject: Graphic Install not working.

Hi all,

I am trying to install YDL 3.0 on an iMac (summer 2001)
(specifications
here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=43096)

I do not get the graphic install when I just hit RETURN on booting
up. I
am using the new boot loader because I want to just run YDL on the
HD,
with no OS9 or OS X.

Any ideas? Have there been problem with this iMac and updates
subsequently which fix this problem?

Cheers,
Diego
