Pssht...... Glub, glub, glub........... Urrrpp! Ahhh. Thanks, buddy! That
really hit the spot on a Friday afternoon!
Yup, they sure are for Linux kernel 2.0, aren't they?
You'll have to see if you can find the source and compile it. Bummer, dude.
I don't know if Cisco has anything for PPC, but check it out.
Bill
Great taste, less filling?
Here's the output of 'file acu bcard'
acu: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), for
GNU/Linux 2
.0.0, dynamically linked (uses shared libs), stripped
bcard: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), for
GNU/Linux 2
.0.0, dynamically linked (uses shared libs), stripped
It has Intel 80386 but it reads that it is for GNU/Linux 2.0.0???

I've downloaded the ACU client and utilities from Cisco, followed their
directions to install - everything looks good. However, when I try to run
acu or bcard to configure the card I get "cannot execute binary file".
Danger, Will Robinson! Danger!
I'll bet you a beer that you have the wrong binaries. This command will win
me my beer:
file acu bcard
It should say ELF 32-bit executable, PowerPC or cisco 4500.
If it says Intel 80386, just email me the brewskis....
Here is the 'ls -l' output:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1064756 Aug 15 15:46 acu
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 85108 Aug 15 15:46 bcard
lsmod shows the airo module loaded.
