Pretty sweet, this drag-and-drop installing. :-) Of course, as a Mac 
user, I have been spoiled by this feature for a long time. In fact, in 
Mac OS X, almost all applications use drag-and-drop installation from a 
disk image (the major exceptions being, of course, Apple apps).

By the way, it turns out that the Konqueror file/Web browser has sftp 
built-in. Just type "sftp://clint@198.162.0.15" (or whatever) in the 
Konqueror address field. Very nifty and clean.

Yes, ma'am -- you said it! (For what it is worth, I have not yet 
successfully installed a single application in Yellow Dog Linux other 
than the base install from the CDs. :-( I haven't tried very hard, yet, 
but it certainly isn't obvious how to install software -- especially 
without an Internet connection.)
