I have now installed YDL in one partition of my imac. The other 
partition has OSX. This is my first adventure into Linux and I'm keen 
to customise & learn.

I have one problem .......... When YDL is bootup and I have the desktop 
there is a continuous screeching sound. I've checked the sound prefs 
and it found the soundcard in the imac. I could here the checked sound, 
but the screeching continues. When I log off I only get a black screen 
and the screeching. I have to force a restart.
Anyone know how I can fix this?
