Dominique,
I did my burn on a Pioneer DVR A03 under OSX. Maybe its
your CD Drive? Do you still have the old CD Drive that was standard
with your 9600?
I tried to use an Apple 24x IDE CD Drive attached to an
Acard IDE Card in my 8500, and the YDL Installer wouldn't see it at
all. I had to get an old 4x SCSI CD Rom out of the cupboard!!! Not
sure its related.. but its somewhere to start :-(

thanks for your help.
That's what I did, I burned as ISO9660 but the cd won't even mount
under Mac OS 9.1.

This is what worked for me. I also didnt hit the Mount button in the
ISO window in Toast. When I tried the Burn under Disk Image it didnt
work at all. After I did that all my 'Images' mounted fine on Mac
OS9. Then you need to do the ole' Boot X install as per the Install
PDF on the YDL site.
Hope this helps.
Alan.

the cd fails to mount, for whatever reason. I have the latest Mac OS
driver for the Cyberdrive but I don't know if I'm missing additional
boot parameters to get the Cyberdrive CD-ROM to see the CD.
Anyone knows what do do or has experience installing YDL on Old World
ROM Powermacs?
Thanks.
