A buddy of mine has a new dual proc G4 and he wanted to dual boot his OSX
with YDL. I gave him the CD and the docs, he says he switched the drive to
ATA66 and followed the instructions to the dot yet when he tries to boot YDL
he gets "/pci......: /boot/vmlinux: No such file or directory". I went in
and looked at it and the YDL installer made some really odd partitioning
choices; boot loader=/dev/hda9; OSX=/dev/hda10; swap=/dev/hda11;
linux=/dev/hda12; and 1-9 are weird like 4KB partitions. Well anyway, it
should still work, no? I tried the custom installation and everything went
off without a hitch, yet same result. Any suggestions?
