Does he (you) know how to get himself an address? Use your favorite text
editor to edit /etc/hosts. Give your machine a name and an IP address
OTHER than the loopback address
SAMPLE:
(there already)> 127.0.0.1 localhost
localhost.localdomain
(you add)> 198.162.0.1 bob'smachine
I have seen places say to put the macine name on the first line as well,
don't know why...
