(no subject)

Hi,
	I recently installed YDL 2.3 on my ibook (nov 2002) and the one
problem I keep having is this:
once I start running x (doesn't matter if it's kde or fluxbox), and run
xmms, after a little while, the trackpad freezes. 
There is nothing I can do but kill X.  Even if I kill xmms once x is frozen,
it doesn't matter, the trackpad is still frozen.
Is anyone else having this problem? if so what is the solution?
