Install problems: YDL 2.3

I tried to install YDL onto a partition of a iBook 600MHz running OS 
X.1.5.  OS X was installed on another partition.

I downloaded the iso CD image from the YDL website for YDL 2.3.  It 
boots fine from the burned CD, but when it gets to the point in the 
install process where it has to find the CD/DVD drive I get an error 
message saying the CD/DVD drive could not be found.  How do I get around 
this?
