YDL 3.0 and Apple Cinema 23"/20" possibel?

I was wondering if any of you is already using YDL 3.0 Linux with an Apple Cinema 23" or
the 20" screen?
Does YDL 3.0 set up everything with regards to XF86Config or do you have 
to maually edit it.

I ask since I'm in the process oF getting either the 20" or the 23" along with the Apple 
powermac G5.
