problem with video card ?

Hi,

recently I tried MOL and I could only make it work with the startup 
CD-ROM of Apple OS 9.1. After that I could not reboot in Linux because 
the Apple changed the boot disk to the CD-ROM I suppose. I tried to 
reach my YDL by going trough the install procedure again but now I 
cannot go to init level 5, something must be wrong with the video 
settings. I have an iMac DV 500MHz, shouldn't the ATI Rage 128 driver 
work (r128_drv) ?
