how to use samba

To connect to a Windows machine from a Linux machine, all you need is the
smb protocol. Entering smb: in the address bar of a Nautilus window will
display Windows machines that are hosting shared directories.

If you want Windows machines to access shared directories on your Linux
machine, you need to configure Samba.
