Sorry for the follow-up here, but I've discovered that if I log in as
root, I can easily retrieve the data from my CF card reader at /mnt/sda.
I would like to do the same while logged in as user, so is it just a
matter of changing permissions on the device? If so, how do I do that?

Thanks,

Jason

Hi,

Does anyone know an easy way to mount a USB mass storage device (CF card
reader) in YDL 3.0?

I can do it from the command line, but it's a long process. The device
is located at /dev/sda1. Ideally, I'd like to set this device up so that
it works the same way as a CD-R drive.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Jason
