I am trying to hpmount an hfs+ formatted external fw drive, without luck
so far. The drive mounts fine under MacOS 9.2.

After I run rescan-scsi-bus.sh, dmesg reports that the drive's partition
table is unknown:

> scsi singledevice 3 0 0 0
> blk: queue c2af4e94, I/O limit 4095Mb (mask 0xffffffff)
> Vendor: IC35L080 Model: AVVA07-0 Rev:
> Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 06
> blk: queue c2af4a94, I/O limit 4095Mb (mask 0xffffffff)
> Attached scsi disk sdd at scsi3, channel 0, id 0, lun 0
> SCSI device sdd: 160836480 512-byte hdwr sectors (82348 MB)
> sdd: unknown partition table

And pdisk reports that there is no valid block 1:
> pdisk: No valid block 1 on '/dev/sdd'

Any advice, other than reformat? MacOS has no trouble with the drive.

Thanks,
