Hello all

I just installed my new YDL 3 distro....as a complete newbie actually it
went like a charm, the bug with more then 2 hard disc was touched
immediately on the website so my problem with booting was gone too.

Having two hard discs in a G3 350 B&W Rev 1 with the bad ATA controller on
board i had to buy a second Tempo66 card (also known as ACARD) to install an
extra disc

I have on one disc OSX and Linux, on the other Disc ive installed the
Classic OS, i was wondering how do i tell yaboot that "/dev/hdg6" its on a
different device?!

A short Note
I tried Mandrake 9.1 and SuSe ftp install they all failed on this particular
machine with my attached hardware, at work all with G4's SuSe and mandrake
functioned fine and booted into installer. At home YDL was the only one
capable of recognizing my Advansys scsci card and having no problems with
the extra Tempo66..so thumb up for Yellow Dog

My yaboot.conf:
boot=/dev/hda10
device=/pci@80000000/pci-bridge@d/pci-ata@1/@0/disk@0:
init-message="Welcome to Yellow Dog Linux!\nHit <TAB> for boot options.\n\n"
partition=11
timeout=30
install=/usr/lib/yaboot/yaboot
magicboot=/usr/lib/yaboot/ofboot
default=linux

image=/boot/vmlinux-2.4.20-8d
        label=linux
        root=/dev/hda11
        read-only
        initrd=/boot/initrd-2.4.20-8d.img

macosx=/dev/hda9
macos=/dev/hdg6 <-- this partition is on a different pci controller how do i
tell yaboot this??
defaultos=linux
delay=10
