I can't get video to works on Performa 5400/180

I've just installed YDL 3.0 on a Performa 5400/180 with a single 12 Gb=20
UATA  hard drive and 72 Mb of RAM. I know it's a slow machine but I'm gonna=
=20
add some RAM (to reach 136 Mb) and a 256 Kb 2L Cache module (YDL 3.0 runs=20
pretty well on my 8600/200 with 128 Mb of RAM although KDE is a bit=
 sluggish).

I've choosed the "Personal Desktop" install option and it works well ... in=
=20
CLI mode!

I'm not able to start X. No way.
I've even entered the right kernel arguments via-BootX but there's no way=20
to launch the GUI ...

I've tryed a lot of combinations:

video=3Dvalkyriefb3:vmode:6,cmode:16
video=3Dvalkyriefb3:vmode:6,cmode:8
video=3Dvalkyriefb3:vmode:13,cmode:8

... and all the other resolution/refresh rate/bit depht combinations that=20
are supported by the 5400 graphics controller and by its CRT display ...

Help!
